It's A 3D World Out There

Communicating your designs in 3D really gets the message across in just a few seconds.

This is sample of my recent projects where I produced a 3D terrain model. Most of this was created in plain old Land Desktop, including the AVI files. The interactive 3D models are produced with RDV for Civil 3D.

The 3D fly-by in this video is from an AVI file created entirely within Land Desktop. If you do not have the Techsmith codec installed (a requirement to view the AVI file) you will be automatically prompted to install it when you visit this page.

Levee and Box Culvert for St. Johns River Water Management District

  1. Levee and Box Culvert 3D Scene using RDV. (Try looking at it from underneath the model too.)
  2. Now view a Box Culvert movie where the terrain model shut off.

RDV Systems LogoRoad Improvement Projects shown using RDV

  1. View an RDV scene of a road improvement project. The aerial photo is draped over a terrain model. The proposed road improvements are effortlessly spliced into the existing conditions. (Try looking at it from underneath the model to see the pipes.)
  2. Zoom in on the major intersection at the north end of this scene. There are photorealistic 3D trees incorporated into this scene.

In a day I can have you producing your own videos using your own terrain models. Call (941-730-4447) or email Brian Morse.
